Fish's Preferred Temperature Chart

This chart has been provided to show the different water temperatures that different species of fish prefer. Obviously, if you use a thermometer to find the water temperature of the species that you are after, you can eliminate large areas of water that are not likely to hold the fish that you target. This can prove to be a very useful technique to help determine also what depth the fish are hagning at.

For help in identifying these species, visit the beginner's education section.
