Hi my name is Rick La Point. I am a Christian Coast Guard licensed and fully insured professional guide on Table Rock and other area lakes. My specialties are teaching anglers the refined techniques I have learned over the years. I have fished all my life, ever since I can remember. Now I am a fisher of men too. I became a Christian in 1996 while I was driving down the road listening to Christian Radio. I am doing what others dream, for a living! So I love to share my testimony with others. And I owe it all to my personal savior Jesus Christ. I teach 5th & 6th at Sacred Heart Church. I also am a member of our parish council. I am a Lecture on selected Sundays, which, besides teaching Sunday School, is a passion for me.

I am truly a lucky man! I have a wonderful wife, Karen, that puts up with me, and loves me unconditionally. I have 2 great kids and one in-law kid. My daughter Michelle 21, is married to a wonderful guy named Nick. And a son any father can be proud of named Aaron.

My son Aaron now 18 hopes someday to follow in his father's footsteps.

Qualifications:

• Qualified for the Missouri State Federation Divisional Team in 1991 and 1992.
• I have qualified for our clubs State Team 10 years in a row, finishing Angler of the Year, 4 out of the 10 years.
• Finished 1st in the only Guys and Gals tournament I fished on Truman Lake in 1993.
• Finished 1st overall in the Pro division of the Mid-West Bass Assoc. in 1994.
• Finished 1st at the Mid-West Bass Regional at Lake of the Ozarks in 1994.
• Finished 1st in the Like Father Like Son Tournament on Table Rock Lake in 1998. 
• I was the Youth Director for the Missouri B.A.S.S. Federation for 5 years.
• Finished 1st in the Junior Bass Division for the State of Missouri in Like Father Like Son in 1998
